My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were lovely, especially our honeymoon suite with a big TV, although the chairs were a bit odd. The initial security concerns in the remote annex were addressed by the staff. The balcony offered stunning views of the estuary and Crantock beach, creating a romantic atmosphere. However, the dated interior and in need of renovation ambiance did not match the beautiful surroundings outside.

The location was ideal, just out of the town for a peaceful stay yet close enough for easy access to shops and attractions. The views over the estuary and proximity to SWCP were fantastic. However, the interior of the hotel looked dated and needed renovation to match the stunning surroundings.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was brilliant with amazing views and close to Fistral Beach, but the room I stayed in, number 12, needed updating and wasn't the cleanest. The dining experience was chaotic, and only light salads were available. However, the hotel's maintenance during the off-peak season was commendable.
